Stream: Emerging Applications of Finance in Economics and Environment
The 26th European Conference on Operational Research will be held in ROME, Italy, July 1-4, 2013. We are organizing a stream of sessions on emerging applications (EAF) methodologies applied to the development of finance in economics and environment (E&E), and would like to invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners, as well as students interested in these topics to participate in the conference and to present their papers within this stream.
EAF in E&E:
The development of more effective Emerging Applications for various issues has been possible during the past decade due to advancements in information, surveillance, finance in economics and environment.
Finance in economics led interdisciplinary field for measuring the effects of various events in economics. On the other hand, for the environment, the cost of pollution is related to the issue in economics and finance which highlights the importance of carbon markets’ efficiency.
There is a need to develop many other systems and improve the existing ones for calculating the financial risks in economics or mitigation of risks involving the environment and climate change. In such efforts, OR techniques have a key role, by handling historical or real-time collected data and helping defining appropriate response actions.
There are 3 sessions in the Emerging Applications of Finance in Economics and Environment stream. To submit an abstract to the sessions given below, please provide the corresponding submission codesin the Abstract Submission page of the conference web site: www.euro2013.org
