International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE)
The International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) was founded in 1977 in response to the 70's energy crisis. We are a worldwide non-profit professional organization based in the United States, which has members in over 100 nations, who strive to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas, experience and issues among professionals interested in energy economics. We actively seek those who are interested in energy economics and those who shape opinions and prepare for events which effect the energy industry.
As our main objective we want to provide for the mutual association of persons interested in energy economics in order to create a forum for professional, multinational discussion and to provide a means of professional communication and exchange for these persons.
Membership in IAEE is open to anyone who has an interest in the field of energy economics. You are encouraged to view our site for more information. If you are interested in joining, our membership section will provide answers and has an online application.
The Energy Journal is the official quarterly journal of the IAEE. It was founded in 1980 to promote the advancement and dissemination of new knowledge concerning energy and related topics. The editors strive to publish a blend of theoretical, empirical and policy related papers in energy economics. Each issue contains original refereed articles, short notes, and book reviews on energy related topics. The Energy Journal is published quarterly both in print and electronic format.
Energy Forum, IAEE's newsletter, presents articles on a wide range of applied energy economics and policy issues plus special member notices about conferences and workshops. Energy Forum is published quarterly both in print and electronic format.
Economics of Energy & Environmental Policy (EEEP), established as an IAEE publication in 2011, is policy oriented. It focuses on all policy issues in the interface between energy and environmental economics. EEEP provides a research-based, scholarly, yet easily read and accessible source of information on contemporary economic thinking and analysis of energy and environmental policy. The editors strive to publish a blend of policy papers and notes, organized symposia on specific policy issues, feature articles, book reviews and commentaries on current energy and environmental policy. This journal wants to nurture a dialogue between academics, business and public authorities. It covers policy issues worldwide. EEEP is published twice a year (March and September) both in print and electronic format.
