We are seeking qualified applicants for teaching and research in the area of business and economics. The starting date is as soon as possible. Applicants must be capable of conducting top-level international and quantitatively oriented research. The successful candidate will contribute to developing one of the School's newly established Research Areas "Energy, Mobility and Environment" (EME) or "Technology, Innovation, Marketing and Entrepreneurship" (TIME). Research topics for EME could be, for instance, resource efficiency/recycling, urban development, or sustainable real estate. For TIME, elements of strategic technology management, such as IP strategy, technology entrepreneurship, technology marketing, and knowledge transfer, would be very welcome as research focuses.
The successful candidate will engage in teaching in the School's own Business programs, in the interdisciplinary Business and Engineering programs and in the programs of the relevant Research Area.
A Ph.D. degree is required; additionally, Habilitation (post-doctoral lecturing qualification), an exemplary record of research achievement as an assistant / an associate / a junior professor or university researcher and/or an outstanding career outside academia are highly desirable. Ability in and commitment to teaching are essential. German is not necessary to begin but will be expected as a teaching language within the first 5 years.
