Job Description

The position is permanent, linked to the 2023-2027 “Departments of Excellence” program awarded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. Specifically, the program will investigate interventions that can contrast inequality, poverty, and other forms of economic and social exclusion, arising as a result of - amongst others - demographic changes, market imperfections and limitations to market participations, financial crisis and impoverishment. More details on the project are on https://www.unive.it/pag/48197/

Knowledge of Italian is not required.

The appointee will be expected to take a leading role within the scope of the above program. The position comes with a generous budget supporting the Program, including a dedicated funding to finance experiments (lab and/or field).

Eligibility

According to Italian legislation, eligible candidates must already hold an equivalent academic position (Full Professor) at their current foreign or Italian university; alternatively, they must have already obtained the Italian habilitation as Full Professor in the relevant scientific field (SECS-P/01).
