Description:

The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a leading business school with one of the largest Finance departments in Germany. We are expanding our faculty and are seeking to fill

several positions as Professor of Finance (all levels)

We are looking for applicants at assistant (tenure-track), associate, and full professor level, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Finance Department has a strong standing in Quantitative Finance. However, a specialization in this field is not a prerequisite, as we are looking primarily for research excellence. The successful candidates will be both productive researchers and creative and effective teachers capable of contributing to the School‘s Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D., and Executive Development Programs. Prerequisites for the positions are a degree in business administration, economics, mathematics, or a related area and a Ph.D. for assistant professors, and appropriate research publications for higher ranks (corresponding to a German Habilitation). We explicitly welcome international applications.

The Finance Department is one of Frankfurt School’s major areas of excellence that we are continually developing. We offer a stimulating research environment and all the opportunities of a dynamic private business school closely connected to German banks and firms. For further information on the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, see our website: http://www.frankfurt-school.de

The positions are initially for a period of five years for associate and full professor; and three plus three years at the assistant professor level. Tenure decisions at an earlier date are possible.

The deadline for applications is February 28, 2010.

Please send your application, including the usual documents and three research papers
