We invite you to submit your paper to the 10th PhD Workshop in Economics. The paper can be either complete or work in progress. This international workshop will take place on December 18th - 19th 2017 at the Collegio Carlo Alberto - Turin (Italy).
The workshop provides a stimulating environment where advanced PhD students can present their papers and receive feedback from the faculty of Collegio Carlo Alberto and University of Turin.
We are pleased to announce that the Keynote Lectures will be held by Professor Pierre Dubois (Toulouse School of Economics) on December 18th and by Professor Paolo Pinotti (Bocconi University) on December 19th.
All areas of Economics (either theoretical or empirical) will be considered. We particularly encourage submission of papers belonging to the following areas, but other related areas may also be considered:
- Crime Economics
- Gender Economics
- Public Economics
- Industrial Organization
- Labor and Household Economics
- Economics of Migration
- Political Economy
- Microeconomic Theory
Please send your paper in PDF format to: email@example.com. Extended abstracts (up to 500 words) will be considered and accepted as well.
Papers must be written in English. Please include your CV in the submission. All presentations will be held in English.
Deadlines - EXTENDED DEADLINE
The deadline for submissions is November 5th. Acceptance will be notified by November 14th.
The workshop will be held in the new seat of the Collegio Carlo Alberto, located in Piazza Arbarello 8, in downtown Turin. The Collegio is housed in the historic building of the Economics department of the University of Turin. It hosts research centres, residential faculty, fellows and visiting scholars.

Lunches, coffee breaks and a social dinner will be offered by the organization. There are no registration fees for this workshop. We are not in the position of covering travel and accommodation costs. However, a list of recommended hotels for your accommodation will be provided.
