After San Diego and Paris, the third meetings of the Society of Economics of the Household (SEHO) will be held in Lisbon, at the ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management of Universidade de Lisboa on May 27 and 28, 2019. SEHO promotes the economic analysis of all outcomes of decision-making by household members, including child outcomes, household production, couple formation, consumption, savings, labor supply, and healthy and risky behaviors.
There will be parallel sessions and plenary sessions featuring Barry R. Chiswick, (Department of Economics, George Washington University, US), Arthur Lewbel (Department of Economics, Boston College, US), Shelly Lundberg (Department of Economics, University of California, Santa Barbara, US) and Elena Stancanelli (Paris School of Economics and CNRS, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, France). Shoshana Grossbard (Department of Economics, San Diego State University, US; President of SEHO and founding editor and Editor-in-Chief of the Review of Economics of the Household) and Elsa Fontainha (ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management, University of Lisbon) are organizing the conference. SEHO's previous conferences have been reasonably priced, and we intend to keep registration fees low this time too.
