The Faculty of Political Economy in cooperation with the Master Program in Economics of the Austrian School of Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and Lübeck University of Applied Sciences will hold their 4th Annual Conference on Austrian Economics on November 19th and 20th, 2020 in Madrid, Spain. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars doing research in this intellectual tradition.
The scientific committee invites the submission of theoretical and/or empirical papers related to Austrian Economics on subject areas such as value and utility, market behavior, money and banking, financial economics, business cycles or economic history. Although the submission of full papers is preferred, extended abstracts will also be considered.
The conference will be held on the premises of Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. It is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 19th, 2020 at 1:00 pm and will conclude around 5:00 pm on Friday, November 20th, 2020. The conference dinner will take place on Thursday evening. Participation to the conference will also be open to non-presenting listeners.
For the first time, papers can be submitted for The MacroTrends Prize for the Development of Austrian Economics. The prize money consists of € 500 for 1st, € 300 for 2nd and € 200 for 3rd place. Selected papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication within an Issue of Procesos de Mercado: Revista Europea de Economía Política.
