Department of Economics of the European University at St. Petersburg and Chair of Economics / Resource Economics, ETH Zurich are organizing the 5th International Workshop on Economic Growth, Environment and Natural Resources on May 31 – June 1, 2019. The aim of the Workshop is to promote the use of advanced economic theory in the fields of growth, environment and natural resource economics. Please download call for papers here (pdf).

We welcome contributions from the fields of growth theory, environmental economics, energy and resource economics, economic dynamics. Prospective participants should submit a draft version of the paper or an extended abstract of at least 250 words to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than February 8, 2019. Successful applicants will be notified by February 13, 2019. Final versions of accepted papers should be submitted by May 24, 2019.
Venue and Accommodation
The workshop will be held at the European University at St. Petersburg (6/1A Gagarinskaya St., St. Petersburg, Russia). There is no participation fee. The European University at St. Petersburg will award a limited number of grants to cover local accommodation costs. To apply for a grant, please email email@example.com as soon as you are notified of the acceptance of your paper. If the grant is awarded, the EUSP will take charge of hotel bookings as required. Otherwise participants are personally responsible for making their hotel reservations.
Participants who need a Russian visa to enter the country will have to get it issued on an invitation letter sent by the European University at St. Petersburg. Participants on a tourist visa will not be allowed to make a presentation by Russian law.
