The 11th biennial conference of Indian Society for Ecological Economics will be organized with Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi at IIITD campus in New Delhi, December 15-17, 2021.
Theme: Sustainable Societies, Ecological Systems and Economic Development with a focus on air, water, solid waste, energy, transport and health
Sub-themes:
- global environmental change
- carbon neutrality
- environmental regulation and governance
- air quality management
- water resource management
- sustainable transportation
- green energy
- sustainable land use
- natural capital for sustainable cities
- ecological footprint
- environment and health
- environmental justice
- other areas related to the theme
We invite submissions that make a rigorous conceptual and methodological contribution of a theoretical or empirical nature.
Submission guidelines
We will follow a two-step screening process. Each submission requires an extended abstract clearly describing the paper and its significance in at least 1,000 words (excluding references) by March 15, 2021.
Successful abstract submissions in the first stage will be invited to submit a full-length paper for final review.
Contributors are welcome to submit full-paper in lieu of abstract in the first stage (by March 15).

IMPORTANT DATES
Abstract submission deadline: March 15, 2021
Abstract selection announcement: April 30, 2021
Final paper submission deadline: May 31, 2021
Final selection announcement: July 15, 2021
All presenters must register for the conference by October 15, 2021, in order to be included in the final program. Accepted papers must not be published before the time of the conference.
