The ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 2020 ZEW Public Finance Conference. The conference will take place in Mannheim on 7 - 8 May 2020.
The conference is held on an annual basis and aims to cover all fields of public economics and political economy. Both empirical and theoretical contributions are welcome.
The 2020 conference focuses on advances in local public economics and features two keynote lectures by Helen Simpson (Bristol) and Daniel Sturm (LSE) on this subject. Submissions related to this topic – whether full papers or ongoing projects – are especially welcome. We offer the opportunity to present posters on ongoing projects to receive early feedback.

Applicants will be notified whether their submission has been accepted by the beginning of March 2020. The conference fee will be waived for speakers presenting a paper.
