Call for Papers
Timely and accurate estimates of the productive capacity of economies and their position in the business cycle are crucial for monetary policy, fiscal surveillance, as well as for choosing the appropriate mix of stabilisation and structural policies.
In cooperation with KOF/ETH Zurich, OECD and INSEE, CIRET will organise a 1 ½-day workshop on the
measurement of output gap potential growth and productivity
with a focus on
how economic tendency surveys can improve the accuracy of the corresponding estimates in real time
Submissions on this topic or related to the use of economic tendency surveys in general are welcome.
This workshop will be held at the OECD premises in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, on November 13th-14th, 2019. Deadline for paper submissions is July 15th, 2019. Submissions should be provided in MS Word or PDF format to email@example.com.
Authors will receive a notification in September regarding the acceptance of their work. Authors are also kindly invited to submit their ready-to-publish papers to the CIRET & Springer Journal of Business Cycle Research (JBCY). Submissions accepted by the Editor-in-Chief will be peer-reviewed by two referees and published in a Special Issue of the Journal.
The registration fee for the workshop is € 100. A dinner, two lunches and coffee breaks are covered by this fee. Participants are invited to make their own arrangements regarding accommodation.
