The aim of the conference is to bring the discussion on recent trends in inequalities in the spotlight of the debate among political circles and policy makers. Topics include: inequality in income and wealth, both in advanced economies and developing countries; labour and wage inequality; income inequality and financial markets; redistribution and fiscal policies; inequality in education, inter-generational and social mobility; regional disparities; gender inequality; poverty and immigration issues.
