The 37th Annual Meeting of the Northeast Business and Economics Association
will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Morristown, New Jersey, on September
30 to October 2, 2010. Montclair State University has the privilege to serve
as the host institution for this event. The theme of this conference is
“Opportunity and Challenges during the Economic Recovery.” Drs. Phillip
Lebel (from Montclair State University), Robert Schwartz (from Baruch
College-CUNY) and Michael Szenberg (from Pace University) are our
distinguished keynote speakers.
This conference will include papers and sessions that span a wide range of
current research topics in economics, finance, and business. We invite
academic researchers and professional practitioners to submit research
papers, and/or research proposals relating to all aspects of
business and economics for consideration in the program. We also welcome
proposals for tutorials and panel discussions, especially from practitioners.
To serve the practitioners of the community, a CPE Committee has been formed
(chaired by Dr. Irene Douma from Montclair
State University) to approve many of the sessions at the conference for CPE
credits to attendees of this meeting.
