Executive Director, International Digital Marketing

This position is responsible for the project management of online theatrical releases, interacting and communicating clearly with other marketing departments, and assisting the creative VP with various duties.


Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Interacts and communicates clearly with other marketing departments, gathering content needs for the interactive department, project management of interactive initiatives, as well as scheduling and communication with design and production teams assigned to various projects
  • Leads the day to day and the monitoring of project timelines, site traffic, and creative trends
  • Works with Creative VP to fulfill requested filmmaker feedback until online materials have approval to launch
  • Creates vendor RFPs and work with legal on contracts to meet the needs of each film's online presence
  • Performs the day to day responsibilities of working with the contracted creative agencies on theatrical online projects
  • Works with home video and international to translate online files per each department's needs post domestic and theatrical and domestic release
  • Continually researches and strategizes new technology and concepts, as they pertain to marketing films online; comes to the table with new ideas within the digital space
  • Assists the Social Media team with projects, as to ensure quality and brand cohesiveness
  • Assists the Online Editorial team with online publicity, including but not limited to: film junkets, talent interviews, set visits, trailer and film clip syndication and online editorial
  • Work with technical team to digitize and stream all video necessary for online marketing on a film-by-film basis and distribute to relevant groups
  • Maintains and distributes all assets related to the theatrical film release
  • Works with technical team to set up FTP, developmental and live site accounts for each title
  • Coordinates and helps maintain ongoing online partnerships and promotions on a film-by-film basis
  • Coordinates and makes all updates for Paramount.com across all departments

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of project management/production/internet experience in a fast-paced design agency, marketing company, or in-house creative services environment that includes at least two years working on internet projects
  • Experience in design, and management of online based projects is key, as is advanced knowledge of the internet and marketing trends
  • Strong background in project scheduling and time estimating, excellent proofreading abilities and basic knowledge of HTML and Flash
  • Experience required with MS Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, File Transfer Protocols (FTP, SFTP)
