Location of Program
To be considered for admission, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. There are no specific prerequiste courses for applicants to the Doctor of Audiology (AuD) programs. Courses listed below are required for professional certification and/or licensure upon graduation.
The Department recommends that applicants visit and/or volunteer at an audiology practice and discuss the profession with an audiologist.
Prior to graduation
- Normal Language Development (3 credits)*
Normal Language is available from NSU after beginning the program and must be taken before the Pediatric Audiology course.
Note: If this course was not completed as an undergraduate, it can be taken during the AuD course of study, but requires separate registration and tuition.
