Over the past years, the results of our annual Job Market Survey have generated a very positive response regarding the valuable insight they provide into the state of affairs for researchers and other academic professionals across the world. With the global recession slowly easing, our 2013 survey highlighted key issues of interest, including salary, mobility, gender balance and top fields of specialization amongst respondents. Using the data we collected, we created regional and country-specific reports, sharing our wealth of results with all participants and the public at large. These reports can be used by current and future economists and others when changing jobs, hiring new employees or just as a point of reference regarding the global job market.

This year, we’ve incorporated the feedback we received and created an optimized Job Market Survey for 2014. In order to conduct truly representative research on the international job market, we need responses from employees at universities, associations, think tanks, banks, NGOs and other diverse institutions from around the world. All responses remain anonymous, while your answers help us build an important picture regarding salary and other relevant employment issues in diverse fields and across numerous countries and regions.

We would very much appreciate your participation in this survey, and ask that you forward the link below to colleagues and other professionals within your network. The results will once again be compiled into reports that will be shared with you at the end of the year. Moreover, these reports will be available to the public free of charge, and we encourage you to share them as well.

We appreciate your participation and look forward to sharing the completed reports!
