Bard College Berlin was established in 1999 as a private non-profit academic institution in Berlin, Germany. As the European College of Liberal Arts (ECLA) the the institution welcomes students and faculty from around the globe. Bard College offers two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics, Politics, and Social Thought, as well as Humanities, the Arts, and Social Thought. Furthermore, English is the premiere language of instruction at the College.
