The Department of Economics of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL invites applications to fill up 2 permanent tenured positions at the Assistant Professor level (Maître de Conférences) beginning in September 2022.

Applications are invited in all fields of Economics.

In view of this recruitment process, the Department of Economics organizes “Days at Dauphine” to take place between April 19th and April 21, 2022. Candidates to the Assistant Professor position are encouraged to participate in these “Days at Dauphine”.

During this event, the candidate will have the opportunity to present her research work (plenary session), as well as to discuss with the members of the Department of Economics more informally during bilateral meetings. If the sanitary conditions allow for it, the event will be organized on site. Yet, on-line sessions can be organized for foreign candidates upon demand.

Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Economics by January 17th 2022.

The annual salary is 25,000 - 40,000 Euros after taxes, depending on experience and qualification. The teaching loas is around 130 hours/year. We offer a light teaching load during the first three years (approximately 75 hours/year). Knowledge of French is an asset, though not required.

The LEDa (80 tenured faculty members) is the economics department of Université Paris Dauphine- PSL, in collaboration with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD).

Its research, which is geared towards decision support, addresses a wide range of societal issues: health and ageing, development and mobility, macroeconomic policies, environment and climate, and finance. His research is based on theoretical reflections on microeconomic foundations, the economics of well-being, the structure of markets and interactions, and the question of risk.

Université Paris-Dauphine is a leading research center in decision and organization sciences. It is a founding member of PSL, a union of French academic institutions. The University is situated in central Paris.
