This is a career-grade teaching position. Post-holders will be expected to take full responsibility for the design, management and delivery of their own modules, contribute to course management and support colleagues within the department with development of and delivery of teaching material. They will be expected to engage in the development of innovative teaching materials and practices. They will also be expected to provide support and guidance to less experienced members of staff. This work will focus on Online Distance learning (ODL), but from time to time post-holders may be required to provide teaching input into on campus teaching, to release specific academics for ODL teaching.
