Assistant professor / lecturer
The Department of Economics, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, invites applications for a professorial stream tenure-track appointment in Econometrics at the rank of Assistant Professor, to commence July 1, 2020. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval. A PhD (or a PhD near completion) in Economics is required. We are particularly interested in candidates specializing in theoretical econometrics. Candidates must show excellence or promise of excellence in teaching, scholarly research and publication and service, and must be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The position will involve graduate teaching and supervision, as well as undergraduate teaching. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is preferred.
