Assistant Professor in Economics (m/f)
located at WHU Campus Vallendar, starting August 1, 2019 or later.
WHU has more than 50 faculty members in the fields of management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing and sales, and supply chain management. Research at WHU aims to adhere to three principles: quality, internationality, and relevance to business practice.
▪ The successful candidate is expected to establish her or his research (field of specialization is open) in the Economics Group and actively interface with the other groups at WHU.
▪ The successful candidate should be able to teach intermediate courses in Economics in the BSc Program (especially Microeconomics) in English.
▪ The successful candidate should support the Economics Group and WHU faculty in various tasks (admission days, research seminars, etc.).
▪ Ph.D. in Economics or Business Economics (or a related discipline)
▪ First publications or job market papers
▪ Outstanding English communication skills
▪ International experience is advantageous
