The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track assistant professor faculty position in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery within our Total Joint Specialty at the McGovern Medical School.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The faculty member, with a rank of assistant professor, within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery may be required to collaborate in research, teaching, clinical service, administrative and other activities, i.e., provide direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents in clinic and hospital settings, etc.

- Collaborating with other Orthopedic Surgery physicians in the department and others at UT Health.

- Being involved in the recruitment, selection and hiring of new or additional  

  physicians to the group
