Non-profit organizations (NPOs) and private philanthropy initiatives are becoming increasingly active in tackling global challenges such as climate change, demographic development and migration. Switzerland in particular plays a central role here as the location of many international organizations and as an international financial center. Your appointment will be at the level of an Assistant Professor with a five-year contract. You will be affiliated to the Center for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS).

Your position

Non-profit organizations (NPOs) and private philanthropy initiatives are becoming increasingly active in tackling global challenges such as climate change, demographic development and migration. Switzerland in particular plays a central role here as the location of many international organizations and as an international financial center.

Your appointment will be at the level of an Assistant Professor with a five-year contract. You will be affiliated to the Center for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS).

The successful candidate maintains a strong research program, and shall teach in our Bachelor's and/or Master's degree programs. The teaching commitment amounts to 4 academic hours per week or approximately 40 contact hours each semester. Teaching may be carried out in German or English.

 

Your profile

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Economics or related areas. We welcome applications in all subfields of philanthropy and nonprofit research.
