Instrumental to the success of the Client Business Unit is executing and planning the operations behind the business. 


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">CBU is looking for a Demand Planner responsible for delivering an accurate demand statement at the component level.  Applicants should be able to explain the assumptions behind constructed demand forecasts and implications of market trend changes in order to maximize revenue and minimize inventory risk. The preferred candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the PC industry, demand and supply planning and operations management, and possess a track record of delivering results and influencing across organizational boundaries. 



  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Derive and communicate the demand based on various indicators (i.e. sales forecast, market/economic dynamics, backlog, annual operating plan, etc.) to supply chain.  
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Build scenario plans based on new business opportunities, potential demand changes, and critical product transitions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Aware of demand trends; use to make informed decisions on tactical positioning of supply (e.g. build postponement / acceleration).
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Analyze demand and supply matching, identify gaps and drive action plans with partner organizations (Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics) to mitigate business risk.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Advisor to Sales on product availability, supportable demand and mitigation options for unsupported demand.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Command of inventory for assigned products with action plans to meet inventory goals and mitigate inventory risk.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Act as primary point of contact for Sales, Finance, Operations, Business & Product Development
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrate product expertise such as product strategy and positioning, lifecycle  (ramp to EOL), targeted customers and markets, active platforms and run rates, ASP and margin, and product capability (e.g. yield).
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Prioritization of supply based on knowledge of critical customer demand and projected availability.
