Under the supervision of the Director for the Center for Applied Research (CAR), the project manager and analyst provides support on a broad range of tasks in order to accomplish functions, goals and objectives. The primary focus of the position is to support the CAR Director on important projects, to elevate the research output of the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School (PGBS), including the target journal list, analysis of research output for the School's Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation, brokering of research opportunities between industry and faculty, and the working paper series.
This position will assist and lead day-to-day project operations and administrative activities of the Center, including:
Develop, maintain and update a repository of publications and research for the School.
Support projects to showcase faculty research, including online presence (e.g., Graziadio website, CAR website, Graziadio Business Review) and interface with the Marketing Department to promote faculty research and expertise.
Support the organization and logistics of research events to build the research community at Graziadio.
Identify and update Graziadio's areas of expertise and thought leadership.
Direct and support ongoing Center activities (e.g., prepare meeting slides, agenda).
Coordinate and/or link project operations with Graziadio Business Review Editor, Marketing Department, and other internal departments to populate external-facing sites with faculty research.
Other ad-hoc projects as required (e.g. prepares the school journal reports, participates in planning the faculty retreat and Center-related meetings).
Perform other duties as assigned.
