As a Construction Accounting Specialist placed with Kelly Services, you will serve as an integral member of our client’s accounting and finance team. Primary responsibilities will include: Prepare and assist with monthly reporting, Monthly Bank Reconciliations, Issue/ Track Purchase Orders to Subcontractors, File mechanics liens, Invoice work orders from Method to QuickBooks and Pull P&L for Project Managers per project You will also perform various clerical duties, i.e., make copies, file documents, etc.
Additional Job Responsibilities Include:
Perform a variety of accounting activities utilizing QuickBooks Accounting Software. Communicate with various departments in the processing of payroll and accounts payable.
Assist in resolution of accounting matters.
Review time submitted on remote payroll time sheet, import time to QuickBooks payroll system
Process weekly payroll & reports such as certified reports & job labor reports
Prepare/Assist with monthly union reports and audits as needed
Manage Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable
Process large volume accounts payable checks
Assist with monthly job evaluation reports for construction projects
Manage & track subcontractor’s notice of levy
Business License Renewals & other certificates for company
Keep track of subcontractors COI’s
