NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fresno, California (US-CA), United States (US).



  • Verifies member eligibility.
  • Logs member ER visits in the UR computer file.
  • Fields, researches and analyzes member-generated inquiries.
  • Communicates, as needed, including verbal and written to representatives and supervisor.
  • Develops comprehensive knowledge of department activities, handles inquiries and provides response as it relates to area of responsibility for both departments.
  • Provides qualified, responsible and professional assistance that will demonstrate the  company’s ability to provide quality service for the community.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provides continual and ongoing assessment and improvement of work processes.
  • Constantly strives to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.
  • In the spirit of teamwork, employees are expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties as requested.


  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members, physicians, co-workers and supervisors.


1-2 years’ experience in health insurance claims environment. 

1-2 years’ Customer Service background required.



Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.  Requires ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.  Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.  Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines.  Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, fax machine and other office equipment.
