Job Overview: Under broad direction, serve as the key point of contact for customer service/inside sales for Halliburton Manufacturing’s Dallas Machine Shop. The Sr. Customer Service Specialist will ensure accurate and processing of orders, timely response on request for quotation, and track shipment on-time delivery.

 

Job Duties: • Serves as primary contact with affiliates, Manufacturing PSL’s (Product Service Line) to identify value in strategic partnership and meet customer expectations. • Capture & execute on opportunities for increased utilization of the Dallas Machine Shop by selling manufacturing capabilities and Customer Service. • Utilizes knowledge of products and processes to service customer needs. • Serves as a liaison for communication with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, etc. to fulfill customer requirements. • Responsible for expediting resolution of escalated issues and investigating to resolve issues with various groups including Procurement, Planning Group, PSLs, Logistics and other customers. • Pro-actively identifies improvement areas and constantly improves processes. • Coordinates cross-center (various manufacturing sites/facilities) and vendor supplied orders as required and monitors those shipments. • Works with Legal group/team to ensure export compliance and stays current regarding international material movements and shipping regulations. • May create shipping documentation and invoicing as part of sales order process. • Provides direction or guidance to other resources on the team to provide training and mentoring. • Directs the movement of material for global multi-PSL operations.

 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service environment required.

 

• 4+ years in Customer Service. • Associate/Bachelor Degree in related field. • Experience prioritizing multiple complex projects/customers in a fast-paced environment. • Strong Written/Verbal Communication Skills to be able to translate customer expectations to multi-functional team.
