Within human resources, our reporting and analytics function is responsible for creating meaningful data insights and analytics to support key people decisions and drive business results. About the role:

We are currently looking to expand our global reporting and analytics team and are looking for a passionate and driven junior data analyst to support our day-to-day operational work. This would involve data gathering, auditing and maintenance of monthly dashboards, scorecards etc. This role will report in to the head of people analytics, based in the UK.

The individual must have previous experience of data manipulation in Excel and must take pride in ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in their work. We are looking for a professional and confident individual who can deliver high quality work, often working to stringent deadlines.

Role Responsibilities:

o   Maintain monthly HR dashboards and scorecards for timely distribution and publication.

o   Ensure all relevant data is collected ahead of production, with any gaps in data investigated.

o   Ensure data is accurate and in the correct format and perform data logic checks

o   Update all pivots, charts, data tables etc. and ensure that they align to the current period.

o   Review the final output and ensure that stringent data checks are carried out before sending through for approval and publication.

o   Provide ad hoc support to people analytics team, as appropriate.

o   Perform data quality checks and audit efforts within the newly formed Data Quality and Governance Program by identifying and flagging data discrepancies, working with other team members on resolution and corrections

o   Create and maintain a data field directory for commonly used fields

o   Maintains integrity and accountability of work and works collaboratively with all colleagues.  

Technical capabilities (knowledge, skills, experience):

o  Strong analytical background with experience in data scrubbing, manipulation and presentation.

o Advanced Excel skills, individual must be comfortable with creating and maintaining pivot tables, data visualizations, IF statements, V/H Lookups etc.

o Strong problem solving and logical reasoning skills - should be able to independently troubleshoot and question data which does not follow logic. Equally, they should be confident to query work to understand and streamline it further.

o  Strong Office 365 application skills to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams.  

o  HR and Workday experience is desired but not mandatory.  

Required education & experience:

o  Relevant/ similar work experience in the data analytics field is desired but not necessary.
