Identify and drive key cross functional engineering best-in-class improvements - working with domain leaders in the org [examples: one source documentation, end to end requirements management process, new capabilities for hw/sw validation, driver based validation. Own overall engineering efficiency programs and indicators [working with department ops].Indicators: Automate tracking for product health indicators and project progress [working with project analysts].Central owner for IP Complexity indicator[working with department ops]Chief of Staff for cross mission control operations.VPG Lab strategy and execution.Drive content for Technical/engineering executive reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines. 12+ years in Hardware/software validation with a proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams. Proven experience in executing system level integration of various software functions. Strong experience in effective coordination with remote teams in bringing issues to closure. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong team player with ability to work with counterparts located at different sites, willingness to learn new technologies.

The Platform Engineering Group (PEG) is responsible for the design, development, and production of system-on-a-chip (SoC) products that go into Intel’s next generation client and mobile platforms.
