Executive Director of the CREA Institute of Applied Economics
Expected start date in position : 01.10.2020, or a date to be agreed on
Contract length : indetermined contract, CDI
Activity rate : 80-100%
Workplace : Chamberonne area
The appointee will be responsible for forecasting and producing Swiss and regional economic indicators, as well as developing the Institute's applied internal research (development of new indicators and studies) and external research (for third parties). The person will be affiliated to the Department of Economics (DE) of HEC Lausanne and will work in collaboration with its members.
The appointee must hold a PhD in economics with a specialization in applied economics or econometrics. Preference will be given to candidates with a few years of post-doctoral experience and an interest for the Swiss economy and French-speaking Switzerland. The person must be comfortable in communicating and popularizing research. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in French.
