The work is led by a group manager and together with three other groups and a school office we constitute the SCI school's administration of a total of about 60 people.
about the job
Our business is growing and we are now seeking another accounting economist for our group. The service is located in the physics administration, which consists of a group manager and employees in the functional areas - finance, HR, departmental support, education and postgraduate education administration as well as archives and registries. Within the group there are three economists who together with you will form a team.
A total of eleven economists work throughout the school. The finance work is led by the school's finance officer and accounting officer who holds regular network meetings with the entire finance group.

We are looking for you who is a driven and independent accounting economist with experience in budget, financial statements, reporting and follow-up. You will mainly work with project accounting in the form of ongoing accounting, financial statements and reporting. The work also includes running the budget process within your area of responsibility. You will work closely with the department's project manager / researcher and management while having a close dialogue with other economists, accounting officer and finance officer within the school.
In the role of accounting economist, you provide consultative support to the school's project manager / researcher and help develop financial documentation and establish project budgets and support their contacts with internal and external financiers. You will also hold regular reconciliation meetings with managers and project managers.
If you have experience in accounting and can work independently, you can be the right person for the service!
We are looking for you who are a business economist or a high school economist with relevant work experience.
You have experience working independently with project accounting, financial statements and reporting. You are used to setting a budget for a limited area. It is a requirement that you are a used computer user with a good ability to use computer-based administrative tools such as various accounting software and Excel. You express yourself very well in both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
Work in a college / university or other government agency is a merit and if you have previously worked in the accounting program Agresso.
