Build Cash flow models (waterfall) using Moody’s proprietary modelling software for various types of asset backed securities such as RMBS, Student Loan ABS, CLO etc. •Develop in-depth understanding of deal related documents which includes indentures, offering memorandum, swap/cap agreements, insurance documents etc.•Run sensitivities/scenarios on transaction models to generate default and loss expectations. •Develop an understanding of cash flow and credit aspects of structured transactions across different asset classes. •Work on ad hoc requests from client.
2-5 year of experience in transaction/cash flow modelling, preferably in structured finance and/or other fixed income/debt products.•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or an MBA from Tier I or Tier II B-school. Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA and FRM are desirable.•Strong ability to work with financial models and data, including credit and cash flow/waterfall models.•Experience reading and interpreting complex legal deal documents such as indentures is required.•Good modeling skills in Microsoft Excel (VBA would be a plus) or scripting language based platforms.•Excellent analytical and communication skills required.•Attention to detail and ability to work independently is highly desirable.
