The Department of Business Administration, Economics, and Law at the School of Computing Science, Business Administration, Economics, and Law (School II) invites applications for a
Full Professorship (paygrade W3) in Management
commencing as soon as possible.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate whose research focuses on sustainable business management in due consideration of firms’ role in society and of their economic, environmental, and social sustainability. Prerequisites are a doctoral degree in business administration or a related field, teaching skills at university level, and additional academic achievements commensurate with the rank of a full professor. Proficiency in empirical research methods, international visibility through peer-reviewed publications, as well as experience in attracting external research funding are expected.
In addition, we expect candidates to be willing to participate in collaborative and interdisciplinary research. All candidates have to be able to teach in English, and non-German-speaking candidates are expected to acquire working proficiency in German. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s teaching programmes at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level. In particular, we expect contributions to general management education at bachelors`level as well as to the M.A. Sustainability Economics and Management study programme. The formal requirements are specified by § 25 Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz (NHG).
