The Graduate Assistant Equipment Manager manages the daily operations of the equipment room including purchasing, budgeting, staffing and laundry. Responsible for the proper inventory, maintenance, safety, and distribution of all athletic equipment. Works with vendors and coaches in the selection and purchase of all athletic equipment and uniforms. Assists with the preparation of campus facilities for practices and home competitive events. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with student athletes, athletics staff, and members of the community. Demonstrated organizational skills are required. This poisition requires availability on nights and weekends, as well as some travel. Certain requirements may be subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.
