The task of the Joint Business Support (GVS) is to support the university's core business of education and research. We do this by providing qualified support in various administrative processes. At the same time, we are within policy support and policy-making and coordination. We are also responsible for performing quality checks, follow-ups and evaluations that develop the business.


KTH is looking for a Group Manager for the Admissions Group, which is located at the Department of Education Administration (AUA) within the Education Support in the joint business support, GVS. The group is responsible for admission to KTH and coordination of tuition fees and tuition fees. Coordination of admissions to major European educational collaborations is also the responsibility of the group. In the role of Group Manager you will lead the work and have personnel responsibility for 17 competent officers and coordinators. You will also be a member of the AUA management team together with two group manager colleagues and the unit manager.

As a group manager, you are expected to work on business development, planning and to be involved in coordinating work between different departments. You are responsible for ensuring that the group works for continuous improvement and to continuously develop our processes. The role involves close collaboration with employees within the unit and with other units within Education Support as well as many contact areas with KTH's schools, other colleges and other authorities. You are offered an evolving role where your knowledge and ability to lead is crucial.

We are looking for you who have experience of work as a supervisor in admission to college, and / or you who have experience of being head of the state or other regulation-controlled activities with good knowledge of the university's regulations. You have a completed college education and very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as both languages ​​are required in daily work.

We see that you have the ability to lead and coach others to take responsibility for your own work areas, and that you create commitment and participation with your employees. Since the group's work is often based on deadlines, it is important that you can plan, organize and prioritize the group's tasks and at the same time have an easy time to adjust to new conditions. This requires both good judgment and a secure and stable foundation to stand on.
