As part of the School’s investment plan, applications are now invited for the post of Lecturer above the Bar in Economics of Health and Well-Being in the Discipline of Economics.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, supervision, and examining at all levels, engage in scholarship and research, and contribute to the administration of the Discipline, the School, and the College. The successful candidate will play a key role, working with colleagues from across the University, and national and international collaborators, to develop existing and new priority research areas, which align to the new values-led University strategy for the period 2020-2025, Shared Vision, Shaped by Values.

Candidates should hold a PhD in Economics, have demonstrated ability in teaching and capacity for supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and have a research profile commensurate with the position. The successful candidate will contribute to: relevant teaching and examining at all levels, including the B.A., B.Comm. and B.Sc. degrees at undergraduate level and the various Masters programmes at postgraduate level, particularly in health-related programmes; engage in scholarship and research; and assist with administration and the development of the Economics Discipline and the School.
