Role Summary:

As a Payroll Analyst, you have ownership and responsibility for the end-to-end payroll processing. You will prepare and process monthly payroll runs, completing gross-to-net calculation on payroll engine, and also ensure all data is accurately compiled, reconciled and transmitted to payroll vendor according to payroll schedule on the agreed frequency.

Responsibilities & Requirements:You'll be involved in the following tasks:

  • Processing of all types of payments and deductions, including wage loans, payroll adjustments, benefit adjustments, and special payments (bonus, gross-up, per diem, incentive, stock option etc.)

  • Investigation and correction of errors associated with the auditing of payroll data before the payroll cycle is finalized.

  • Balancing and review of all payroll output and completing all controls and checks in accordance to local regulations, SOX guidelines and Flowserve’s global payroll procedures and best practices.

  • Processing adjustments related to terminated employees, such as payments after leaving, recovery of advance payments/loans, special payment packages in case of redundancy etc.

  • Preparation and processing of manual, supplementary, and off-cycle/on-demand payments.

  • Payslip generation, handling and distribution through payroll engine.

  • Managing money movements for salaries, statutory payments (income tax, social contributions etc.) and any other third-party payments according to the deadlines defined in the payroll calendar.

  • Tax processing and statutory reporting / filing according to local regulations.

  • Employee inquire and resolution co-ordination on payroll and benefit related matters through askHR.

  • Tax year-end processing and filing according to the local statutory requirements.

  • Employee year-end form generation, handing and distribution through payroll engine.

  • Benefit administration (healthcare, insurance, fringe benefits etc.) according to local rules.

What do you need for this job:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Italian and English

  • 3+ years of experience in working on end-to-end local payroll

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the local payroll and tax legislation

  • College degree in related field is required. Master’s Degree is preferred

  • Experience with working for mid-size / large multinational companies as part of a global team

  • Knowledge of any other payrolls in EMEA will be a plus

Preferred Experience / Skills: • You are natural at building positive relationships;

• Have strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills;

• Demonstrate attention to detail;
