The successful candidate is expected to enroll in the Graduate PhD Programme in Economics and Finance (https://www.unisg.ch/en/forschung/doktorat/graduateprogrammeeconomicsandandfinance) at the University of St. Gallen and may participate in the Swiss Program for Beginning Doctoral Students at the Study Center Gerzensee (https://szgerzensee.ch/courses/swiss-program-for-beginning-doctoral-students-in-economics).

Your profile

The successful candidate has acquired (or is about to complete) a Master's degree in Economics or a related field with excellent grades. A demonstrated interest in at least one of our main fields of research is required. Fluency in English is essential, and a good command of German is desirable.

The chair is affiliated with the Institute of Economics (https://fgn.unisg.ch/). The focus of our research is on microeconomics, in particular industrial organization, game theory, antitrust law and economics, and the microeconomics of sustainability.
