The Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Lucerne invites applications for two funded PhD positions:
- Empirical political economics
(Professor Lukas Schmid)
- Empirical political economics or environmental economics
(Professor Simon Lüchinger)
The successful applicants will participate in graduate courses and write a doctoral thesis. They will be part of a strongly research-oriented team in a collaborative and supportive environment. The positions come with some light teaching and research assistance obligations. The terms of employment are subject to cantonal regulations.
Applicants should hold a first-rate master’s degree in economics, have excellent skills in applied econometrics, and have a strong interest in one of the subject areas mentioned above.
