The Faculty of Business and Economics at the Technical University of Dortmund invites applications for a fixed term

Postdoc in Economics

to begin September 1st, 2017 or later. The duration of the contract for this position depends on the personal qualification status, initially not exceeding three years.

Salary levels are according to official pay scale 13 TV-L, or TVÜ-L if applicable. The position is a full-time position. In principle a reduction to part-time is possible. The possibility of further scientific qualification is given.

Requirements:

Prerequisites for employment include a completed degree in economics or a related field, as well as the completion of a relevant doctorate with excellent marks. The candidate has the ability to conduct high-level research independently and within a team of scientific colleagues.

Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on microeconomics, in particular on game theory and its applications and/or behavioral testing.

Tasks:

Teaching classes (4 hours weekly) and support in administrative affairs.
