Summary

The Cypress HR team is looking for an experienced HR professional to partner with the Manufacturing and Operations team in Austin, Texas.

Job Description

This role requires a strong understanding of the HR fundamentals and experience implementing, executing and delivering appropriate HR solutions and actions.  You’ll partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies which are focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, rewards and employee engagement, including all types of employee communications.  To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work, including demonstrating sincere interest and focus on site employees, evidenced by your willingness to be present on off shifts as needed. You’ll help business leaders make (data-driven) recommendations that improve performance, retention and the employee experience at all levels of the organization. Working closely with specialist HR teams and peer business partners, this role will be accountable for driving key initiatives and projects in areas such as such as onboarding, employee relations, culture, diversity, and leadership development, as well as facilitating the annual performance management and rewards allocation processes. Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.  Graduate degree in business or human resources highly desired.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in human resources with increasing responsibility driving business outcome with strong organizational development skills, knowledge and tools.
  • Current/Previous HR experience in a production/manufacturing environment.  Must be interested and highly effective at engaging with all levels of staff at the site, from DL to site leadership, including being present on odd shifts as needed.
  • HR experience in the technology sector is strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, results and team orientation and a commitment to the highest level of integrity are required to be successful in the role. 
  • Must have strong employee relations experience, including identifying and resolving workplace issues, investigating employee complaints, and addressing employee opinion survey feedback. 
  • Global HR experience desirable.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to handle HR activities and integrate HR and business strategies.
  • Must be resilient, unflappable and able to thrive in a fast paced environment with a high level of energy.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
  • Change management experience.
