POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Oversee operations in the Imaging Center, including performing closing duties. Process digital files to both laser and inkjet printers, as well as, performing wire and plastic coil binding. Provide basic maintenance to both laser and inkjet printers, including nozzle checks and changing toner. Process large format print jobs using an Onyx RIP station. Assist in maintaining and calibrating equipment. Enforce policies and procedures for students, faculty, and staff. Supervise work study students in Imaging Center; insure that all policies are followed. Responsible for keeping accurate count of cash drawer, balancing SmART card receipts and cash with the print forms. Maintain the Interdepartmental Charges for the Imaging Center, assist in applying the correct discount for print jobs. Assist with developing, updating, and designing IC brochures and help documentation, including video documentation. Provide back up to work-study students. Respond to Help Desk tickets. Aid with the hiring and training of Imaging Center and Taubman Proctor student staff. Oversee the usage and inventory of paper, toner, and ink for the computer labs and Imaging Center. Update social networking sites as needed and assist with outreach. Perform additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of print processes and color management. Proficient in Adobe Design Software: Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign and Acrobat at a minimum. Supervisory experience a plus.
