research within a German Research Foundation (DFG) funded project on Economic Theory and Game Theory, in particular on strategic communication, ambiguity and networks (90 %)
support in the organization of the project (3%)
support of teaching activities in the area of Economic Theory and Game Theory, including grading assistance and supervision of seminar papers and theses (7 %)
completed relevant scientific degree (e. g. Master or Diploma) in Economics, Mathematical Economics, Mathematics or a related field (with good success)
good knowledge of English (oral and written)
ability to work independently, self-sufficiently and enthusiastically
strong organization and coordination ability
ability to work in teams and cooperate with others
previous knowledge in one or more of the following topics: strategic communication, ambiguity, networks, non-cooperative game theory
intention to pursue a doctoral degree in one of the named topics (enrollment and active participation in the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management is preferred for this position)
Salary will be paid according to Remuneration level 13 of the Wage Agreement for Public Service in the Federal States (TV-L). As stipulated in §2 (1) sentence 1 of the WissZeitVG (fixed-term employment), the contract will end after three years. In accordance with the provisions of the WissZeitVGand the Agreement on Satisfactory Conditions of Employment, the length of contract may differ in individual cases. The employment is designed to encourage further academic qualification. The position is advertised as 75 % part-time job. In individual cases, this percentage may be reduced on request, as long as this does not conflict with official needs.
