Harman International is looking for a Senior Analyst – Incentive Plan Administration and Accounting on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for accounting for and administering the company’s long term cash incentive (LTCI) program, management incentive program, and other cash incentive programs. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have no direct reports. Job Responsibilities: Administer the company’s long term cash incentive plan, including processing grant agreements and communication to employees as well as maintaining accurate employee and grant information. In partnership with HR, administer and support the management incentive program, including budgeting and accounting for other cash based incentive programs. Review and maintain the participant database including monthly reconciliation with the GlobalView HR system to ensure recording of terminations and timely calculation of prorated grants for new hires and promotions during the grant cycle. Prepare on a monthly basis communications and grant agreements for new hires and promotions during the grant cycle. Track acceptance of all grant agreements and provide regular updates to the Global Rewards Team. Work with Global Payroll teams to process LTCI payouts according to vesting schedule Prepare employee communication and training materials as needed. Maintain all plan documents – e.g. Plan Description, Grant Agreements. Answer LTCI related inquiries received from employees, HR Business Partners and Division Controllers as needed. Reconcile cash payments and plan activities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Prepare monthly journal entries to account for long term incentive plan activity. Prepare monthly intercompany credits / wire transfers for long term incentive plan activity. Document new award grants and reconcile to the tracking tool to ensure completeness. Calculate and input quarterly updates of probability assessments for awards with performance conditions. Support Human Resources and Finance with all plan related inquires and provides guidance as needed. Support controllership with budgeting for all plan related expenses and forecasts. Liaising with Finance, Tax, Payroll, Human Resources, and other departments as needed. Assist financial reporting requirements to the parent company.
