Applications are invited for appointment as Senior IT Manager in the Information Technology Services, to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 8 years' post-qualification experience in information security (IS), relating to 3 or more of the following areas: system operations; enterprise networking; system intrusion and data leakage prevention; IS and data management (DM) policy setting; IS equipment and measures for central IT and network systems; and system security management, audit and forensics. They should have good interpersonal and communications skills; proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; demonstrated leadership ability; problem-solving and analytical skills; and good project management skills from service planning to deployment and support. Those with qualifications of CISSP and CISA are preferred. The appointee will be responsible for institutional IS and DM policy formulation and enforcement; departmental IS assessment; planning, implementing and managing security protection measures for the central IT systems and campus network; handling security breach incidents and subsequent investigations; and university-wide IS and DM awareness promotion.
