Global Evidence & Value Development (GEVD) is an integral component of the BioPharma Global Research & Development organization that focuses on readiness for value assessment and patient access across the product lifecycle.
With leadership from the GEVD Asset Leader, the Senior Manager, Oncology, will contribute subject matter expertise to inform the evidence based comparative value profile of EMD Serono’s Oncology pipeline products. The Senior Manager will collaborate with members (e.g., Epidemiology, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access & Pricing) of the cross-functional global oncology product team. You will serve as a subject matter expert partner and technical lead for health economics and outcomes research projects. Your evidence generation responsibilities could include cost-effectiveness analyses and budget impact models, prospective and retrospective observational studies, indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), meta-analyses and systematic reviews, patient reported outcomes measure development and validation and other research as needed to support the asset value. You will manage external vendors and internal interfaces while executing critical workstreams of the evidence generation strategy.
You will continue to grow your technical proficiency, awareness of new developments, and he continually evolving requirements in the external landscape so you can appropriately apply them to business challenges. You will disseminate research through internal PowerPoint presentations and scientific communications, inclusive of congresses, publications, presentations.
Who you Are:
- Master's Degree
- Graduate level training in health economics and outcomes research, economics, decision analysis/sciences, health services research, or related quantitative fields
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
- Competencies in health economic research methodology and modeling such as evidence synthesis and modeling, systematic literature reviews, real-world data analysis and/or patient reported outcomes
- A high standard of ethical and intellectual integrity
- Ability to communicate in a precise, reliable, unambiguous, and timely manner.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential
- Experience with the therapeutic area of Oncology
- Experience within the field of Pharmaceuticals
