Your role:

You are responsible for sales of the complete Life Science Applied Biomonitoring Portfolio and for the achievement/surpassing of Sales targets for the defined sales area. You will be responsible for working with local sales leadership in the Research organization combined with tactical marketing APAC to create and execute a tactical plan in the SEA region with the aim of hitting or exceeding OP target. You will develop a strategy for the sales area and bring that vision to reality. It will be critical for you to provide feedback on local market trends and customer insights within the BioMonitoring remit and develop and maintain an accurate forecast to   You will work successfully with each of the SEA country support functions and distributor networks to maximize our share of wallet.  Utilizing the relevant sales tools for opportunity management and pricing in order to lead your team and drive the business will be a focus. Lastly, you will work in close interaction with your peer sales managers from our Business Fields in the sales area to foster a culture of collaboration.

• Develop and implement a customer-centric commercial strategy for the SEA region in close alignment with BioMonitoring APAC leadership, Strategic Marketing and the Research SEA leadership.•Play a proactive and integral role in the APAC leadership team•Develop a strong relationship with local distribution partners.• Develop a culture of listening and leveraging “Voice of customer”  in all team members in order to develop local Sales and Marketing tactics and to be shared with Marketing organization for best development of Global  Marketing strategies• Establish and build key strategic partnerships within SEA including customers, distributors, opinion leaders and industry associations;  collaborate and engage with the Marketing leaders to leverage these partnerships as needed• Develop annual and mid-term business plans for the APAC biomonitoring segment in order to meet commercial goals for sales and profit growth and establish regular forecasting processes within the organization.• Cooperate with all the support functions, from Logistic to Customer Excellence and Finance to ensure “Voice of customer” is listen and to ensure they provide the best support to all the sales team• Drive change processes and initiatives within direct team and set-up regular communication forums with all stakeholders        â€˘ Business knowledge of the Industrial Microbiology market, including customers, competitors, way of operating, cultural awareness       â€˘Scientific Degree (min. BSc; MSc preferred). MBA Advantageous       â€˘ Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with senior management and translate strategic plans into integrated sales and marketing programs       â€˘ Experience and confidence on working within matrix organisation       â€˘ Confidence on managing within a changing environment implementing and driving it       â€˘ Excellent execution and proven track record of delivering results & meeting commitments       â€˘ Understanding of the basic financial concepts (i.e. forecasting) and proven ability to manage an expense budget       â€˘Ability to manage conflict and manage critical situations and display political Savvy       â€˘ Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills in English
