This role is actively involved in various portions of the tax life cycle for strategic and operational transactions, while creating collaborative relationships with other finance teams. The intern will also have opportunities for community engagement and professional networking. The pay is commensurate to experience and housing assistance will be provided for non-local students. A successful completion of the internship could potentially lead to a full-time employment opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works with the corporate tax department to become a contributing member of the finance team.
Contributes to corporate tax planning, compliance, and accounting by practical application.
Contributes to various projects from concept to completion.
Participate as a team member in various activities including tax technology, modeling, and various data analytics.
Contributes to monthly and quarterly financial closings, projections and forecasting.
Education and Background
Currently pursuing Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting or related business field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and possess general computer skills.
Team player with strong project management and organization skills.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and take initiative.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
